Dear Sir or Madam:

            The Commonwealth of Virginia is conducting its annual Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC).   The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) is the annual 2022 charity drive of the employees of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The CVC operates by state employees under the Executive Order of the Governor EO #27-2014. Multiple groups of state employees volunteer and provide statewide leadership and support to CVC. Various CVC activities are being held to raise funds for the many approved non-profit 501c 3 charities that participate in CVC.     

            We are requesting any items for a prize, gift certificate, or gift card for silent auctions and special events.  All proceeds raised will go to an approved local non- profit 501c 3.  Nothing is too small!

            Our fundraising activity this year at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality is to hold a Silent Auctions for 100 + professional adults.  We respectfully request you to donate tickets to your venue, gift certificate, accommodations, or a prize for fundraising for a Silent Auction.  Our Silent Auctions will be held on April 29th and May 23rd.  Such a desired item is sure to generate much interest and add generously to our fund drive. No amount is too small.  Making a donation in this manner is an excellent way for your company to support Virginia’s charities and to provide advertisement for your company.  We know everyone has had an extremely undesirable year; however, we would like you to support us a little so we can support your businesses a lot, and we will generate customers for you.      

            State employees run the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign Tax ID 47-0950147, and 100 percent of all money collected is donated to a 501c 3 charity. Our 501c 3 charities have to apply and prove they are 501c 3 non-profits. Our website is www.cvcgives.org. If you have any questions please let us know. We will advertise for you for your kindness and support, if you can please send brochures we will distribute them.  We will also post a sign for 30 days with your name and a huge thank you for supporting our silent auction.
