Communication Celebration
Gala/Party for Cleveland Hearing and Speech CenterMay 18, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
As Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center moves into our 102nd year as an anchor nonprofit institution in Northeast Ohio, we are looking ahead to our future. Our center provides over $1 million each year in free and reduced cost care to those who may not otherwise receive critical communication services. Our services are crucial for all communication disorders, literacy and workforce development. We have celebrated our successes but there is more work to be done.
In an effort to not only maintain, but strengthen our work in the community, we are hosting our annual benefit, Communication Celebration on May 18, 2023 at The Aviator. Each year this event raises more than $60,000 in critical funding. We are looking forward to an event that will bring together more than 200 leaders and members of the community who support our mission and who recognize how important communication, a basic human need, is for every person at every stage of life.
As we travel around the world with culinary and beverage delights rooted in culturally rich experiences, we will share stories of those who came to CHSC as children and are now succeeding and thriving as adults due to their treatments received at CHSC. From hearing loss to fluency deficiencies to stroke recovery and deaf services, CHSC opens the doors of communication to all who need us; regardless of their ability to pay.
We will feature four culinary stations at this event with a fundraising activation (raffle, silent auction, etc) at each station. We are requesting donations from local businesses to help us build exciting and unique fundraising activations. From gift cards to merchandise to experiences, every donation puts us closer to our $60,000 goal. Will you support CHSC with a donation?
Supporting this event allows Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center to serve thousands of children and adults who need it most, regardless their ability to pay. We help individuals with stuttering, hearing loss, workforce development, language disorder, reading and learning issues, neurodegenerative diseases, and stroke recovery. Funds raised at our benefit will go directly to client care.
