Description

CIS Washington is evolving our All In for Kids fundraiser into a more intimate and intentional gathering, bringing together our top 100 donors for an evening of meaningful connection. Rather than a large gala, this exclusive event will provide space for deeper conversations about our impact, our students, and the critical role our supporters play in their success. With a goal of raising $100,000, this event will foster stronger relationships, inspire greater investment in our mission, and ensure that every student has the resources they need to thrive.

At Communities In Schools (CIS), we transform lives by surrounding students with a network of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Working directly inside schools, we help students overcome barriers like poverty, food insecurity, and lack of access to essential resources. From counseling and mentorship to providing basic needs and academic support, CIS ensures that every student—regardless of background—has what they need to succeed. By strengthening schools, families, and communities, we create brighter futures for students and a stronger, more equitable society for all.

CIS Washington’s statewide training and professional development efforts further strengthen our network by equipping site-based staff with the skills, tools, and resources they need to provide high-quality, student-centered support. These trainings establish a consistent standard of excellence across affiliates, ensuring that site coordinators and frontline staff are well-prepared to address the complex challenges students face. For young people, this means having dedicated, well-trained advocates in their schools who can connect them to critical resources, provide mentorship, and create a safe, supportive environment for learning. By investing in staff development, CISWA enhances the effectiveness of Integrated Student Supports, leading to better outcomes in attendance, academic achievement, and overall student well-being. Ultimately, these efforts build stronger, more connected communities where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
