Description

For over 25 years CommuterLink’s public service mission continues to be assisting the commuting and traveling public overcome mobility issues, seek easier and less stressful experiences for local travelers, reduce the number of cars on the road to improve air quality, decrease congestion and overall improve the quality of life in the community. CommuterLink, a 501c3, is a free services organization that partners with businesses, universities, hospitals, community groups and other organizations to help reduce congestion and improve transportation and air quality in our communities.

Carpooling, walking, biking, public transit and other alternatives to driving alone present many benefits to both commuters and businesses. With the right information, incentives, resources and support, commuters can shift their behaviors toward smarter choices like carpooling.

We help our partners create a more sustainable commuting system for residents, employees, students and other constituents.

Re-thinking your transportation choices can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make our air healthier.

ConnectSmart is the first mobility app designed for the greater Houston area. Powered by live transportation data, it provides multiple transportation options for daily trips and offers convenient options for driving, carpooling, planning transit trips and buying Metro tickets, bike sharing, and a no cost Tow and Go program (limitations apply), and much more.
