It is that time of year to kick off the Mini-Maverick Mile Run! The PTA at Comstock Elementary is hosting its 6th Annual Fundraiser Run on October 6th, 2022. This is our one and only fundraiser of the year to support Comstock’s commitment to safely create opportunities to engage and connect with our students. Comstock PTA provides for school programs, supplies to assist mobile classrooms, new spaces for outside learning environments and much, much more. We would love the opportunity to partner with you to help support our students and staff. We are asking for donations from around the community that we can use for student (and some teacher staff) raffle prizes. Our PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so all donations are 100% tax deductible.

 As you know, the value of a child’s education is priceless. Three years ago, pre-pandemic, the Mini Mavericks Run was a tremendous success with over 800 students and teachers in attendance. Last year, we were able to welcome students back for this major event and excited for another successful Mini Mavs Run this year. With the help and generous support from yourself and the participation of your business, we will be able to further support our students and staff. Comstock PTA was able to purchase our initial coding program software, install a sunshade playground cover, place a water bottle refill station, as well as a Gaga ball pit. This year, we will be using the funds to create a larger outdoor learning space with a sunshade, crushed granite floor and additional tables.
