The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra (CVYO) is an important organization in the Thousand Oaks community. For 61 years, CVYO has been the driving force behind creating a strong environment for young musicians to thrive and grow into well-trained and well-rounded musicians in the Conejo Valley.

We are planning our annual Winter Gala Concert, and we are looking for donations for our silent auction fundraising event during the concert. We feel that our organization is a good fit since we strive to present the highest quality of arts education possible in a fun and engaging way to our community.

Our spring concert, entitled “Symphonic Masterworks”, will present a delightful program rich in great works by Dvorak, Rinksy-Korsakov, Verdi, and Bruch, and will feature young musicians from kindergarten through high school in five different ensembles. The performance will be held in the premiere theater in Thousand Oaks, the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, in the Scherr Forum Theatre. The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra has been training young musicians in our community for over 60 years, and our mission is to inspire youth through music: to enrich the current and future lives of young musicians through the unique experience of orchestral music. Our Gala Concerts are well-attended community events, celebrating the arts and the fantastic young musicians in our community.

We appreciate your consideration! Our silent auction fundraising goal is $3500 and we would be tremendously grateful for any help you can offer us towards achieving our goal. We would list all donors as program sponsors on social media and in the concert program, which will be seen by approximately 400-500 guests.
