Description

We are excited to announce our upcoming conflict management workshop series, Effective Communication for Conflict Management. The workshops are structured and delivered by the Department of Leadership Studies as two, 1.5-hour sessions containing focused analysis of types of conflict and conflict management styles often encountered in the organizational dynamic. These sessions are designed to enhance the knowledge and effective practice of personal and group conflict management to increase collaboration and performance within the university’s functional groups. Attend BOTH sessions, get entered to Win 2 tickets to Fiesta Texas! Attendees who attend get a Digital Badge from Credly!

4/1/2023 -Pre-Survey sent via E-mail

First Session:

April 11, 2023 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Second Session:

April 17, 2023 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

The sessions will focus on identifying adequate conflict management styles for diverse situations and self-reflection on The Four Agreements as a philosophy for enhancing communication and interpersonal skillsets. Participation is open to all faculty, staff, and administration.

To allow for adequate time toward the analysis and application of Conflict Management style results for the group, the CM assessment survey will be distributed via email to each participant 2 weeks prior to the first scheduled session. Surveys will need to be completed 1 week prior to the first scheduled session to allow for construction of results packages for each participant.

We believe that these workshops will greatly benefit our community and organizational culture that reflects our core values of Trust, Integrity, Community and Service. We hope to see you there!

Best regards,
