My name is Jonelle St. Lewis and I am the Communities in Schools coordinator for Conley Hills Elementary School, a Title I school in the Fulton County School District located just south of Atlanta.

The family resource center wants to sponsor our staff appreciation week this year as our newly founded PTA has limited funds. Teachers Appreciation Week will be celebrated from May 2nd - May 6th, 2022. Our goal is to provide meals and prizes for our extraordinary staff as they continue to go above and beyond to serve our scholars.

We are asking businesses and community members to help us celebrate our teachers by donating food, gift cards, certificates, or merchandise for Teacher Appreciation. We would like to provide meals for our staff each day. Your gifts will make a huge impact on the morale of our teachers.

Donations will be acknowledged in advance via emails and on flyers posted in the teacher's lounge. During the week, we will recognize all donations on a promotional table in the lounge. Any informational flyers or coupons given to us will be placed on this table for staff to pick up. If 90 items are given to distribute, they will be placed in the staff’s mailboxes or in treat bags. We will also take pictures to post on ClassDojo, a social media platform for parents, so that 300 parents can acknowledge donations. Pictures will also be posted on Twitter.
