Cookin’ for Kids Oyster Roast will be held on September 10, 2022, at Memorial Gardens Park behind the Columbia County Library in Evans, GA. The event is an evening oyster roast with steamed oysters, as well as non-seafood entrees and sides, beer, wine, live music, a raffle, a silent auction, and a live auction. All proceeds will directly benefit the children served by Child Enrichment.

Through our Child Advocacy Center and CASA programs, Child Enrichment provides a voice and a path forward for children that have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, and trafficking. We do this through our highly trained and dedicated volunteers and staff, children-first approach, and free-of-charge services and resources for local children and families. During the last fiscal year, Child Enrichment found safe permanent homes, provided counseling, forensic interviewing, medical advocacy, and/or court advocacy to 1,066 children and 497 of their non-offending caregivers along with providing expert testimony in prosecutions of alleged child sex offenders, all at no cost to the families.  Our organization has helped over 25,500 children since opening its doors in 1978.  Your support will directly translate into creating Brighter Days Ahead! for the children and families we will serve in the future.
