Each year, Corbrook Awakening Abilities partners with New Visions Toronto to host a Golf Tournament fundraiser in efforts to raise funds that will support our programs, delivered to individuals living with disability in the Greater Toronto Area. Our upcoming golf tournament is scheduled for June 10th, 2020. Any contribution quantity or value to the event's auction table, raffle or loot bags would be greatly appreciated. 

This year’s proceeds will be used towards several continuous improvement initiatives at Corbrook, including;

• Funding upgraded and new initiatives for the people we support to provide an enhanced learning experience, including Music and Fitness programs and a revamped (what do you think of revitalized or refreshed instead of revamped) Art program.
• Inclusion in community discovery and exploration: Participant entry to activities they would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial barriers.

Donations will be gratefully recognized at the event to the attention of approximately 200 guests who attend the tournament each year. Donors will also be acknowledged on our website, social media platforms and in our Annual Report. Additionally, we will issue a charitable tax receipt matching the value of each donation.

BACKGROUND 

For over 68 years, Corbrook Awakening Abilities has provided programs and services to youth and adults with physical and developmental disabilities in Toronto and surrounding communities. Participants achieve inclusion, independence and an overall higher quality of life by accessing our individualized supports, which include respite, vocational and pre-employment programs. As a registered not-for-profit organization, we rely on the help of our supporters and donors to raise funds and awareness about developmental disabilities.
