Description

For over 70 years, Corbrook Awakening Abilities has provided programs and services to youth and adults with developmental and physical disabilities in Toronto and surrounding communities. Participants achieve inclusion, independence and an overall higher quality of life by accessing our individualized supports including respite, vocational and pre-employment programs. As a registered not-for-profit organization, we rely on the help of our supporters and donors to raise funds and awareness about developmental disabilities.

We are looking for support to our Silent Auction fundraiser held on September 28th, 2022 during the annual Corbrook New Visions Toronto Annual Golf Tournament.

We hope that you will consider donating a gift-in-kind e.g. a product or gift certificate, to be bid on at the event’s our silent auction fundraiser. We appreciate gifts of any type and value, and we will arrange pick-up at no cost to you.

In 2022, proceeds will support our commitment to program excellence while responding to the costly ongoing response to Covid-19. Funds will be directed to:
• The cost of adapting programming to online services
• The purchase of technology and upgrades to improve accessible and engaging remote learning opportunities
• Off-set the recent cost associated with re-opening our sites for in-person programming
• Cover expenses associated with Covid-19 prevention e.g. buying barriers, hands-free temperature screening devices, sanitization labour, supplies and ppes not adequately funded
• Lastly, funds assist with participant entry for outings and activities that they would otherwise be unable to attend.
