Description
Each academic year, the Cornelia Elementary School PTO hosts a silent auction event. This year, we will be holding our event on February 11, 2023, and hope to raise $20,000 from our silent/live auction event where we anticipate 200-300 attendees/bidders.
We are raising money to fund books and supplies for our new science curriculum, supply school nurses and social workers with basic necessities for students in need, and sponsor free annual community events like our fall Heritage Night and our spring Science Fair. In addition, we hope to generate enough funding to maintain our playground and community garden, and fulfill requests on teacher wish-lists.
