The “Countdown to the Triple Crown” fundraiser falls exactly three months before the Kentucky Derby and will kick off our year of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown win in 1973! This Saturday evening event will feature hundreds of silent auction items displayed throughout the Museum galleries. We will offer beer, wine, soda and light refreshments, and entertainment, including our 16-minute signature film "What It Takes: Journey to the Hall of Fame." We are excited to offer an online auction component so supporters from throughout the country can participate as well (stay tuned for the link!). Attendees will mingle with live music, light refreshments, a 50/50, and bid on some hot items!

The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to preserve and promote the history of thoroughbred racing in America and honor the sport’s most accomplished participants in the Official National Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame. All proceeds from the event will fund new and exciting exhibits, educational programming and help us provide the best experience to thousands of visitors annually.
