This is our 20th year for our Cowboys for CASA event.  It is a fun-filled night that includes dinner, drinks, entertainment and both a live & silent auction.  It is our largest fundraiser of the year and is a great opportunity to help us raise funds for a meaningful cause. 

Proceeds from this fundraiser helps us continue to provide training for our volunteers who advocate for Cooke County's  abused and neglected children living in foster care. It also provides funds that help cover travel expenses for our advocates to make visits to see the children to let them know that someone cares about them and to check on their well-being.  Some of our foster kids are placed out of county, some are 100's of miles away, and others are even placed in homes or facilities out of state.  Donations also allow us to purchase needed items for the CASA kids and/or the placement home such as beds, clothing, car seats, or other essentials.  We also try to help out when we are able to with requests from the child that might make help them feel 'normal' or like they fit in such as purchasing a school t-shirt, a cheerleading uniform, back to school clothes, senior pictures, or chess club dues.
