“Won’t you be our neighbor?” The Cradle of Hope, located in Glenside, PA has successfully moved mothers and children from homelessness to training, employment, and permanent housing for over twenty-six years. We house nine mothers and children for up to one year and also provide counseling and support services for over 350 women annually at our Pregnancy Resource Center. Our impact would not be possible without the generous support of organizations like yours.

On Sunday May 5, 2024 at 2:00 pm, The Cradle of Hope will be hosting a fundraising event with a silent auction. The auction will simultaneously be conducted online as well as on site at 2242 Mount Carmel Avenue as we celebrate the opening of our third home at 2244 Mount Carmel Avenue. In the past few years at the Cradle, we have connected with many more of our neighbors. In the evenings, we see families headed to Cassidy Dance Studio, many have noticed our sign and returned with clothing donations. On my drive home, I pass The Way’s, Minuteman Press, Giant, and Tom Sawyer Auto. Each has generously supported us as well as volunteers from Arcadia University, local high schools, Eagle Scout troops, and area churches. Each is vital to our mission…but we need more partners.

In anticipation of our Spring Fundraiser on May 5th, will you consider partnering with us? Can you sponsor the event, or perhaps you know of a business that can sponsor the event? Maybe someone in your circle could donate items for the auction. In the past, people have placed bids on tickets to sporting events, gift cards, and weekend getaways. However, the sky is the limit!

Donation and sponsorship submission information is included on the attached form. We are entering this year with a larger need for funding as we have added a third house and are determined to help even more mothers and children.
