As we embark on another exciting new year, we are requesting donation support for the Cragmont Public School PTA’s Annual Auction, taking place on Saturday March 18, 2023. Our goal is to raise $40,000 to support the funding of our Art teacher, Drama teacher and the programs that they deliver to our Kindergarten through 5th grade students in Berkeley, California. 

Funds raised from our auction are critical to maintain Cragmont Elementary's educational programming. These programs enhance the learning experience of our culturally diverse community of the 300+ students from across Berkeley. Thanks to the generous support of local businesses such as yours, last year’s auction raised $15,000. Pre-COVID our auction would raise upwards of $40,000. 

These vital funds sustain programs that benefit all of our students, and are especially important in the face of major cuts to education by the state of California. These programs include:

• arts

• garden 

• physical education

• visual and performing arts

• cultural assemblies

• disaster preparedness

• special education supports

• math supports

• community events

• after-school enrichment classes and scholarships

• supplies for every classroom

We circulate the list of businesses who donate goods and services, encouraging our families to return the generosity. Our community loves to patronize the businesses that support our school!
