We are pleased to announce the date for the Syracuse Crawfish Festivalto benefit Operation Northern Comfort- Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Clinton Sqaure. The festival is the major fundraiser for Operation Northern Comfortand the source for our operating dollars. We expect attendance of over 6,000 people. 

This year's festival will feature a variety of delectable food, including crawfish and shrimp fresh from the Gulf Coast. The main stage will be alive with music from Syracuse favorites. Festival goers will enjoy over 50 vendors and crafter booths. Our event is family friendly with games for kids and the mascot dance off. 

Operation Northern Comfrot remains 100% volunteer run organizationborn in Central New York and serving this community. We believe in using every dollar we raise to directly support those in need. 

In 2023 alone Operation Northen Comfort has:

• constructed 14 ramps and 3 lifts
• complete 40 accessibility/ improvement projects
• built and delivered 51 Desks4Kids
• built and delivered 147 Bookshelves4kids
• taken 19 volunteers on 3 service trips to Fort Myers and Buffaloto assist with disaster recovery in 5 homes and 2 churches
• provided $6,500 in support of other local nonprofits such as Tillie's Touch, PGR Foundatiom Inc, In My Father's Kitchen and The Brady Market

Since our formation in 2005 (orginally as Operation Southern Comfort) we have 

• Constructed 88 ramps and 11 lifts
• completed over 300 home accessibility/improvement proects
• built 5 homes
• built and delivered 1,475 Desk4Kids
• built and delivered 439 Booksheleves4Kids
• taken over 1,000 volunteers on 66 service trips to helpcommunities rebuild after natural disasters

2023 proved to be a very difficult year for all of us at Operation Northern Comfort. Our founder, Norm Andrewjewski, passed away in October and we are committed to making this year's festival a resounding tribute to him. 

Your donation (to be used as a raffle) will ensure that Operation Northern Comfort will continue to change lives and rubild communities. It also allows us to carryon Norm's legacy of "neighbors helping neighbors" because "it's a beautiful thing."
