Crestview Elementary School has been a mainstay in our community, educating future scholars for nearly 60 years, and currently has 85 dedicated teachers and staff members serving nearly 450 students & their families. Our 501(c)(3) Parent-Teacher Association strives to support students and classrooms by helping to fund a wide variety of education enrichment including unique physical education opportunities such as roller skating; art enhancement supplies; musical instruments; field trips; literacy, math, and fitness community-building events; Discovery Day where students can explore a range of novel activities in science, technology, culture, and more.

The vast majority of our annual funding is raised through a multi-week effort by students and their families which was unfortunately put on hold in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. This year, the culmination of our efforts is an all-school literacy event, the Cardinal Read-A-Thon. This year the event will take place on Friday, March 3rd, and our goal is to raise $18,000 through student-collected pledges from family & friends and community sponsorships. In the month preceding the event, our students will be logging their hours read and converting to miles in an effort to Read Around the World.  Our community partners will be recognized in a variety of ways including carpool signage, social media shoutouts, flyers home to students, and highlights in our school’s newsletter. Any and all support is greatly appreciated!
