Our Spring Gala “A Crosstown Classic” – is our first in-person suburban event in over 2 years! We are very excited to be hosting this fabulous event at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook and to announce that the band Standing Room Only (SRO) and our emcee Wayne Messmer will bring the entertainment and help us knock it out the park for Almost Home Kids (AHK). Almost Home Kids provides a bridge from hospital to home for children with medical complexities; as well as training for their families and respite care when needed. Financed in part by private funds from community supporters, business leaders and philanthropists, AHK saves the State, the City and the Taxpayer over $10 million per site in Medicaid expense savings each year and provides a vital safety net to families of children with medical complexities.
