Crunch Time Party
Gala/Party for South Pasadena Tournament of Roses AssociationDec 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Since 1910 the City of South Pasadena has carried on the tradition of participating in the Pasadena Tournament of Rose Parade, making ours the second oldest entry in the parade's history. Many city volunteers join together to hand construct, build and decorate our entry. this year's cost is estimated at $100,000. We are one of only 5 self built floats in the parade meaning not one person is paid for anything and there are no professional float builders on staff. We receive ZERO monies from the city and with the help of others we are able to carry on the 119-year tradition of sending our cities float down the parade on January 1st. We have three fundraisers, "Crunch Time Party" being the largest. We host a dinner for 200 people with silent and live auctions. the dinner is attended by local community, city council and chamber members. All proceeds go directly to the funding of our float. We thank you in advance for your time and consideration of our request. We have a spot on our web site that list all donors with a link to their web. Last years is still up and will come down in about 2 months. So, it stays for about 10 months. Check out last year’s supporters at www.sptor.org and follow/click on Crunch Time Party. Thank you again!
