Cub scout Pack 117 is part of the Longhouse Council in Upstate New York and meets at

the Cicero United Methodist church. As a 503 (b)(3) organization, Pack 117 is for boys and girls

in K-5. We focus on teaching children trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and

citizenship. Our pack encourages children to be present in their community and not on

electronics, try new things, important life skills such as reading a map, how to use tools, healthy

habits, and basic first aid. Most importantly, how to set and achieve goals.

A banquet to celebrate scouting and their achievement is held every year and

called the “blue and gold” banquet. We are looking for support from local businesses to help

our organization provide donations to serve as door prizes at the event for the scouts and their families.

Our event is scheduled for March 10th, 2024.
