My name is Miranda D. Lawson, and I am the Program Manager for the Young Professionals Conservatory for the Sacramento Theatre Company.

Sacramento Theatre Company (STC) strives to be the leader in integrating professional theatre with theatre arts education. STC produces engaging professional theatre, provides exceptional theatre training, and uses theatre as a tool for educational engagement. The Young Professionals Conservatory is a 10-month intensive training program for students, grades 8-12, to learn, grow, and hone their talents in the arts. Our School of the Arts reaches students of all ages from 6-18 throughout our various programming.

Our students create and run a Fundraising Event to benefit the School of the Arts programs. Our students have raised $90,000 in the past, which goes to our public school programs, scholarships for students joining the conservatory, and many other opportunities. The entire event is student-run and student-led. As the Program Manager, I liaison with companies as we request donations. This year, our event is taking place on April 9th, 2022. This year our theme is Champagne & Roses!

We hope you'd be willing to donate to our event, which helps us and is a tax write-off for you! This event will see about 200 people in attendance, and it's a great way to further get your name out in the community! We are happy to promote with any materials you give us. Any donation helps, including gift certificates, discounted or donated services, and items to help us with our silent auction items and raffle basket prizes!
