Hi, we are CWC East Valley, a tuition free charter school that just opened this past year in Valley Village CA. We are having our first ever auction at CWC East Valley to raise money in 2 ways. The first is to fill the gap between what governement funding gives us and what our unique model actually costs. The second is we are raising money to supply our teachers with their own set of Lee & Low books, which are a large series of children's books that  are truly “about everyone - for everyone. At CWC East Valley, we focus on emotional based learning and we celebrate and encourage socio-economic, cultural, and racial diversity in our community and learning. Our goal for the auction is $30,000 and the books from Lee & Low are roughly $17,000 to get each of our grade level teachers their own set. We are bringing our community together in order to meet our goals! We would love your help in reaching our goals for our first ever auction since opening our school this past year. We will have an online, silent auction leading up to our celebration event on June 11, as well as some of our items will be live auctioned at the event itself.
