D.A.R.E. Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Other Event Type for Itasca County - Sheriff's Department D.A.R.E.Apr 07, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program is currently in every public school and one private school in Itasca County and has been in existence for over 25 years. This year D.A.R.E. officers will graduate approximately 500 fifth grade students from the program.
In the past several years, D.A.R.E. Officers have taken part in and sponsored many fun activities for school groups throughout Itasca County. One event is a Minnesota Twins baseball game to celebrate the graduation of the fifth grade D.A.R.E. students.
The purpose of this letter is to pursue either silent auction items or monetary donations to help make this event possible for our D.A.R.E. graduates. The support you and other organizations give is instrumental in providing these students with the opportunity to attend the game.
Silent auction items will be auctioned at our yearly spaghetti and meatball fundraising dinner which will be held on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. D.A.R.E. officers along with other law enforcement personnel donate their time and cooking talents to this worthy cause. We invite you to join us at the Eagles Club in Grand Rapids between 11 am and 6 pm.
If you have any questions or would like additional information about the D.A.R.E. Program, please contact D.A.R.E. Coordinator, Deputy Mike Partlow @ 218.326.3477.
