Description

Dear Local Business Owner,

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is a federal tax exempt not-for-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Our mission is to provide educational and interactive exhibits for young children as well as provide support and resources for families in Montgomery County.

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is hosting its third annual Daddy/Daughter Ball Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center. Our goal is to raise $200,000 goal to secure a physical location for Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum in Damascus, MD. Our fundraising goal for this event is $10,000.

For the past two years, Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum has sold out tickets to the Daddy/Daughter Ball. In 2017, we had over 550 participants and tickets sold out weeks in advance. This year’s theme is “Dare to BeYOUtiful” to encourage positive self-image and individuality of young girls in our community.

Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum is seeking raffle donations for this memorable Daddy/Daughter Ball.

The Daddy/Daughter Ball will feature items/services to be raffled off from participating local businesses. We are asking that you support us in our efforts by donating an item (or items) for our raffle items of interest to the young girls, fathers, or families. As a donor, your business card would be included with the item and we will promote your company’s logo prominently on our website and social media accounts. With the loyal following we have amassed over the past few years, this is a fantastic opportunity for your company to share your products or services with the many Montgomery County fathers and daughters that attend the event.

Please consider supporting Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum by donating an item or service to be raffled off at the 2018 Daddy/Daughter Ball. We welcome donations of any size. All donations are deductible under IRC Section 170. Contact Kymberli Petronio if you are interested in this community partnership.  Your participation is critical for the success of our fundraising event and organization.

On behalf of Stop Drop and Play Children’s Museum, we look forward to partnering with you in this most worthwhile endeavor.

Thank you for your consideration,

Kymberli Petronio
