DRC’s 2023 DANCE for DIABETES will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the Elliot Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. It will feature an outstanding evening of great food, wine, crafted cocktails, live music, dancing to the fabulous DW3 Band, and an array of exciting auction items. All funds raised will support our quest for T1D cures.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a chronic, life-long, autoimmune disease that requires daily management with insulin injections and continuous blood sugar monitoring. Both children and adults can be diagnosed with T1D. Currently 1.6 million Americans live with T1D and approximately 68,000 new patients are diagnosed annually. This devastating disease is a relentless daily struggle, can be life threatening and currently has no cure.

DRC aims to change that.

Diabetes Research Connection (DRC) was established in 2012 by five tireless proponents of diabetes research who saw the need to invest in the future of T1D cures. Our investment is in peer-reviewed research grants to early-career scientists focused on innovation. We’re encouraging new ideas and scientific breakthroughs by incentivizing and providing the means for a new generation of diabetes investigators to go where no one else is going to solve the complex diabetes puzzle. We will not stop until diabetes is eliminated and we need your help to do so.
