I am writing to request an in-kind donation for our largest fundraiser of the year, the Dance Through the Decades 2022 Gala: PROM. This event started in 2019 but could not happen again until 2022 due to Covid. This event will be on September 10, 2022, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, at the DoubleTree in Reading PA. As a fundraiser, this event will have an auction, a silent auction, and an opportunity to pledge. It will also offer a buffet-style meal (in stations), a cash bar, a DJ, and a photobooth. The proceeds of this event will support the programming of the LGBT Center of Greater Reading. As we support other parts of Pennsylvania, grow our health and outreach initiatives, our income must grow as well. We are hoping to have between 300 and 500 attendees and raise between $50K and $100K. Please help us meet our goal by supporting this event through an in-kind donation!
