Dancing Throug the Decades Adult Prom
Gala/Party for Whittier School PTOApr 06, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The Whittier Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer team of teachers, staff, parents, and guardians. We aim to build connections between families, the school, and the Oak Park community. We are dedicated to promoting academic success and social and emotional growth for all children at Whittier.
The PTO funds numerous educational initiatives at the school, including teacher resources, field trips, and special all-school programming. The PTO also funds our school's care and maintenance, including facility and building upgrades, collaborative gardening, and day-to-day logistical needs. Last, the PTO funds activities to unite students, teachers, staff, and families to build strong emotional and educational connections.
To fund these initiatives, we depend on the generosity of our community through monetary donations and fundraising.
We are currently planning our Dancing Through the Decades Adult Fundraising Event, an evening for caregivers to socialize and enjoy an evening out on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. We will receive a percentage of ticket sales but depend on our raffle and silent auction activities to raise most of the funds toward our annual goals.
Would you donate an item(s) to our silent auction?
Items must be new or gently used.
Items may be goods or services (please include market value)
Should you donate to the silent auction, your business will be recognized on auction displays at the event and on the school website and social media.
The Whittier PTO is a 501(c) tax-exempt organization; your donation is tax-deductible. Our tax ID number is 36-3767228.
Thank you for your consideration!
