We’re celebrating 30 years! Spina Bifida Association of New York State (SBANYS) is hosting our 11th annual Dare to Dream Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy on Saturday, November 18th from 5:00-9:00pm. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary with 200+ in-person and virtual attendees. It will include a live and silent auction, entertainment, and new this year – cocktail hour and a 3–course meal for our guests. The funds raised from this occasion are the foundation that allows SBANYS to provide programs and services.

·       Awards ceremony recognizing the You Make a Difference Award: Judy Heumann posthumously and Volunteer of the Year Award: Jim Dunham, Immediate Past Chair, and Outstanding Consumer Advocates.

·       Virtual guests will receive be live-streamed into the gala for the live auction and awards ceremony via Zoom

All funds raised benefit the Spina Bifida Association of New York State. SBANYS provides programs and services to the estimated 4,000 individuals living with Spina Bifida in New York State (NYS), their caregivers/parents, and professionals caring for the community including teachers, therapists, and medical providers. Our services include responding to requests for information/referrals, education outreach, advocacy and awareness initiatives, peer support, systems navigation, and programming. These services are available statewide, at no cost, and benefit individuals living with Spina Bifida across the lifespan.
