D.A.V.E.’S Place is a LIGHTHOUSE within the Walnut Grove neighborhood. We are a longstanding commUNITY Impact Center, native to the Greater Kansas City area. We provide a biblical alternative for living through personal/family transformation, social reform, and capacity building. We offer various outreach programs such as a bi-monthly food pantry, counseling services, educational classes, (basic technology skills and financial literacy), as well as the Greenwood Community Garden. We also operate a transitional home for women. We will be hosting a dedication service for the Community Center on May5, 2024. We would like to take time to acknowledge our partners that assist us in the efforts of meeting our community needs. This event will bring all of our community partners together for a networking opportunity as well as time of fellowship and appreciation. With your help we will be able to accommodate the nearly 100 partners that help us serve over 1500 underserved families annually.
