In August 2015, Dawn Hill was living her life, a life she loved so dearly...one she always spoke of as perfect. She had just run a 10K trail run, hiked the Sugarloaf Mountains, kayaked the Gunpowder River and taken a cruise to Bermuda & Bahamas to enjoy the blue waters. On that cruise, she began to have excruciating stomach pains and upon returning home, was quickly diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer (that had metastasized to her liver and stomach). Dawn underwent over a year of intense clinical trial treatments at Hopkins but sadly, she passed away on 12/20/2016, after her warrior-heart fought 16-month battle. Dawn brought HOPE and INSPIRATION to many of her friends & family and even strangers who followed her story on Facebook through shared posts. Dawn was a true warrior and friends and family have established the Dawn Hill Fight Foundation Inc. in her honor, to raise funds for families in need of financial assistance that are battling Pancreatic Cancer!

This does not include the race registration fee (virtual or in person) and you do not have to participate in the race to do so. Submissions must be received by April 1, 2019.

Where: Ma and Pa Trail, Bel Air, MD – Williams Street Entrance (turn onto Ellendale St. from 924N).

Registration: Adults (13 yrs and older): $30 BEFORE April 1st race (plus online registration fee) / ticket price increases to $40 on April 1st / $40 on race day (no additional fee)

Children 5-12 years: $15 BEFORE April 1st race (plus online registration fee) / ticket price increases to $20 on April 1st / $20 on race day (no additional fee)

Children under 4 yrs - $10 BEFORE April 1st race (plus online registration fee) / ticket price increases to $15 on April 1st / $15 on race day (no additional fee)

Infants in strollers welcome! Register as a child runner under 4 to get a race shirt!

Pets on a leash are welcome as well!

VIRTUAL OPTION: If you cannot join us for this race, but would like to participate by running or walking your own 5k in your neighborhood during a date and time of your choice, you may now do so! You will receive a swag bag with a T-shirt and goodies for your participation.

MD 24N toward Bel Air. Drive 5 miles and turn right on Baltimore Pike/US-1BR. Drive 0.4 mi. and turn left on Archer St. Drive. Turn right on Thomas St. and make an immediate left on Williams St. Drive 0.5 mi. to the trail parking lot on left.
