The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Bolton Ball Committee is seeking donations for this year’s DAYL Bolton Ball—The Diamond Anniversary, a charity black-tie gala that will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at On the Levee, a venue in the Design District in Dallas. The event will be attended by 350-400 adult guests consisting of attorneys, business professionals, as well as friends and family. 

The entire event planning committee is working hard to make the DAYL Bolton Ball an even more significant hallmark event in North Texas. This year, we are focusing on increasing exposure to the legal and greater business community as well as partnering with businesses that could benefit from exposure to our event and its guests, as the guest list usually features some up-and-coming North Texas residents and business leaders. 

The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers annually hosts the Bolton Ball, a charity gala that benefits the DAYL Foundation. This foundation, a chartered 501(c)(3) organization, provides grants to some of the most in-need but often overlooked nonprofit organizations in the North Texas community. Your donation would directly contribute to these efforts and all funds help these amazing nonprofits. I have seen firsthand how important these grants are and their impact on the community in providing law-related education and legal services. Past grant recipients include nonprofits such as CASA, Gift of Adoption, Mosaic Family Services, YMCA of Metro Dallas, Young Women’s Preparatory Network, Solar Prep for Boys, Housing Crisis Center, and Legal Hospice of Texas.

A huge part of the Bolton Ball’s success is raising money for the DAYL Foundation with our yearly silent and live auctions as well as raffles. Our silent auction will be available for the first time online, which will allow additional exposure to our donors. We solicit items such as gift certificates, hotel and trip packages, retail items, sports and entertainment tickets, fitness vouchers, and dining packages, along with many other items each year. When it comes to potential donations, your imagination is the limit.

All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and we are always willing to work with you to craft unique brand activations should you have additional ideas.
