Description

To whom it may concerns:

London Center of the Deaf (LCD) promotes education, physical activity, and social events for Deaf, Deaf/Blind, and Hard of Hearing citizens in London/Middlesex and the surrounding area. LCD is excited to announce the return of a popular biannual event - Deaf Expo.

On November 26, 2022, due to increasing popularity, this day-long event will take place at a new venue, the Hellenic Community Center. Deaf Expo provides a day of social gathering for our community members, while providing accessible information on local resources, demonstrations on new technologies, and promotion of Deaf and local businesses.

With Deaf Expo being open to all residents, of all ages, this is an experiential event that provides a safe and welcoming environment for those not yet familiar with Deaf culture, history, and language to participate and learn about the Deaf Canadian culture. We have people attending from various cities throughout Southwestern Ontario.

To make Deaf Expo a success, we are seeking donations of products and merchandise from various businesses and organizations in and around the London area. Such items may include: door and draw prizes, discount vouchers, or items to be included in participants packages. We appreciate any and all donations.

If you would like more information about Deaf Expo, require us to pick up your donation, or you want to send us your donation - contact information is provided below.

Thank you in advance for your support of Deaf Expo 2022.
