We are the Deer Park School Council (DPSC), a parent volunteer organization that raises funds and advocates for students at Deer Park Junior and Senior Public School (Deer Park PS). On Thursday, June 6th, 2024, DPSC will hold its annual Fun Fair! With over 1,500 attendees, this is our biggest community-focused fundraiser for students and families in the Yonge & St Clair neighbourhood. 

This year, we hope to make the Deer Park Fun Fair our most successful one yet, but we cannot do it without your support.

Our Fun Fair is full of rides, games, yummy things to eat and drink, silent auctions, and contests, but most of all, it’s a day of fun! All of the funds raised go directly to the school and supports a vast range of school resources and enrichment programs for our students.

We are looking for donations for our silent auctions and raffles and sponsorship of food and activity stations. Deer Park Jr & Sr PS introduces our students to performance art as much as possible and having your support for our school and local community would be amazing.

Why Do We Do This?

Deer Park PS is home to 700 K-8 students (including a 15% rise in enrollment in 2024), and the financial needs at Deer Park PS have increased. Now, more than ever, we need local help to provide all the crucial resources and programs that support our students. The Deer Park Fun Fair is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts.

Science and Arts Programs (Musical Theatre Production, Music/Dance Workshops, Science Club)
Team Building Events (Terry Fox Run, Student of the Month, Skate-a-Thon, Dance-a-Thon)
Community Building Events (Food Drives, Deer Park Families in Need Fund, Winter Solstice, Fun Fair)
Health & Wellness Support (Mental Health, Internet Safety, Diversity/Inclusivity and Nutrition Workshops)
Deer Park PS Friday Lunch Program 
Team Athletics Support (Uniforms & Equipment, Travel Expenses, Coach & Teacher Volunteers)
Grade 8 Graduation & Grade 7 School Trips 
School Equipment (Gym Scoreboard, Furniture)
