The Strandwood Elementary PTA strives to provide a well-rounded educational experience for the students of Strandwood Elementary. We do this by funding instructional assistants in Science, Art, Computer and Reading Intervention as well as providing classroom instructional assistants for each lower grade classroom. Additionally, we bring a variety of wonderful programs to the school including Read & Dream, Strandwood Art, and our beloved Snow Queen.

We need your support to help raise funds to support these important educational opportunities! That is where you come in! Our annual Dinner Dance Auction is our largest fundraiser and provides almost $70,000 towards our annual budget of $200,000. This year’s event, “Denim and Diamonds” will be held on April 22, 2023 at Contra Costa Country Club and we expect over 200 guests in attendance.

A successful auction requires great sponsors and out of this world auction items, and we can’t do this without your generous support. Please consider a donation of gift cards, goods, services, or a unique experience (like a behind the scenes tour, lunch or other event). Or if you’d like an opportunity to market to the families of Strandwood Elementary School, sponsorship opportunities are available! All donations, and all donors will be featured on our online auction website (linking to your website), in our event program, and on social media.
