On April 25, 2020, Fred T. Korematsu Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (KPTO) will be holding its 12th annual fundraiser. This is a very popular event that raised $40,000 last year. The Korematsu “Denim & Diamonds” event, silent and live auction, will be enjoyed by parents, teachers and local community members.

Our current fundraising efforts support our teachers and students with enriched events, classroom supplies and playground safety. The KPTO gives teachers $25 per student to assist with field trip expenses, classroom supplies, and other much-needed materials. In addition, the KPTO supplements the science classrooms, library, computer lab, garden and outdoor education curriculums. Playground supervision is also supplemented by the KPTO. All of these wonderful contributions to our school’s curriculum are possible because of generous donations from businesses and people like you.
