Denim and Diamonds Gala
Gala/Party for Rhyan's Good Day FoundationFeb 17, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Rhyan's Good Day Foundation was started following the tragic death of Rhyan Moody. At the young age of 14 Rhyan lost her life when the car she was traveling in with her grandparents was hit by a drunk driver on Thanksgiving Day in 2017. Rhyan was killed instantly. She was a 9th grade cheerleader at Colleyville Heritage High School when she passed away. The impact that her death had on the community was huge. The foundation was started to raise awareness about the tragedies of drunk driving and fund annual scholarships to graduating seniors. We have awarded $110,000 in scholarships in the past six years!
We have an annual fundraising gala each year. This year our theme will be Denim and Diamonds. This event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on February 17th at the Westin Hotel in Southlake. The evening will include a silent/live auction, dinner, speeches from past recipients, and a night of dancing in rememberance of Rhyan and her influence. We are asking for an item we can use toward our silent/live auction. Thank you for your consideration!
