On behalf of the children and families we serve at Wayfinder Family Services, we want to personally thank you for considering a donation of an auction or raffle item for our 13th annual Derby Day fundraising event, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Mulvaney’s Restaurant in Sacramento, California.

With your donation of this item, we will be able to raise money to fund programs that help our most vulnerable children in foster care. To help support our programs, we hope that you will consider donating a product or service that can be included in our auction or raffle. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law and we will gratefully acknowledge you and/or your company in the event day program.

We expect 200 people to attend the event, and your business will be visible to our donors letting them know you are a business that supports our community and has a heart for our most vulnerable children in foster care.

We have helped over 10,000 children in foster care find loving, permanent homes through adoption. We also provide foster care and kinship support services, and just last year, we were able to help 344 children find loving families of their own through adoption by a relative. Additionally, we certify families to be foster parents and we provide Post Adoption Services, so families continue to receive support from us long after the child has been adopted. With over 60,000 children in foster care in the State of California, we are passionate about the work we do.
