Dear Business Owner:
On March 15th, 2024 the Big Red Band Boosters and band members from Souderton Area
School District will be hosting their annual designer bag bingo at St Maria Goretti Parish, located
in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The Big Red Band Boosters consists of the parents and families of
the students of the award winning Souderton Area High School Big Red Marching Band. The
Big Red Marching Band program welcomes all interested high school students, and these
young men and women dedicate their time and energy to learning to master their instruments
and perform in shows and competitions year round. In addition the Souderton Big Red Marching
Band is a regular participant in the Harleysville Memorial Day Parade and Souderton Holiday
Parade, and volunteers at community events such as the Harleysville Jaycees Country Fair
Days. We also provide a scholarship for 2 eligible high school seniors each year. The band
program allows the opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and strong bonds with
other young people not only from Souderton High School, but other local high schools as well.
The goal of our bingo is to raise as much money as possible to support a long list of goals. One
of these goals is to purchase new instruments and replace some older, less dependable
equipment. We also need to increase a fund which subsidizes students who need financial
assistance for participation in the band and to attend any trips and competitions. We are
optimistic this event will be a jump start to a great fundraising year!
We are hoping to host 200 people for this bingo. We have an energetic group of kids and
parents ready to organize and manage this event. However, we also need an amazing
assortment of prizes and gifts we can raffle off to ensure that many of our bingo guests and
supporters leave happy. We are reaching out to businesses and individuals, seeking
sponsorship, services and/or goods for this bingo.
Some possible donation ideas include: gift certificates or discounts for your business/service, a
gift basket of items, the donation of goods that could be added to a community gift basket,
sports memorabilia or tickets to sporting events, theaters, museums, amusement parks, or local
events.
If the donation of an item is not possible, we have several sponsorship options available which
are outlined on a subsequent page.
In return for any donations received, our group will be handing out programs to bingo attendees
that name every individual and/or business donating to the Big Red Band Boosters. We also
intend to make a list of the donors with links to their respective websites available on our
website. We will also be announcing our supporters during the event and urging everyone in
attendance to support the businesses and organizations that have so generously assisted in
