The 8th annual Diablo Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, August 29 in San Marcos, CA. In its first seven years, the Diablo Golf Classic has raised more than $30,000 and has donated 100% of the net proceeds to various non- profit organizations. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000. To do so, we are asking for your help. We are currently seeking auction items, raffle prizes, gift bag items and prizes for awards. We also have sponsorships available. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and would help bolster our fundraising efforts. All donors and sponsors will be recognized throughout the day including during the awards ceremony and dinner banquet, as well as being featured on the event website, e-blasts, banners, mulligan cards and other relevant marketing materials.

The Diablo Golf Classic was started in 2008 as a way for golfers of all skill levels to play in a fun, scramble-format golf tournament. As the event has grown and evolved, it has turned into a highly anticipated fundraiser with more and more golfers, sponsors and volunteers joining each year. This year we anticipate a full course with 140+ golfers and approximately 30 volunteers - all doing something they enjoy while helping to raise money for charity. Participants are primarily local golfers that lean toward supporting local businesses and organizations.

Again, any donation you might have to offer would be greatly appreciated. All contributions are tax-deductible and will help make an impact on the lives of others. As a sponsor, you will be given a receipt and written acknowledgement shortly after the event for tax deduction purposes. Don’t forget that all proceeds will go directly to other nonprofit organizations. Point The Way Foundation is a California 501(c)(3) charity that donates to military, children and community organizations that are in need of support.
