Dear Friends,

The Diamond Bar Friends of the Library are happy to announce our 29th annual Wine Soirée scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at a new location

inside the Diamond Bar Library!  This is always a wonderful event to

enjoy food, wine tasting, live, silent and book auctions, a raffle, live music and reconnecting with friends!

Although 2020 and 2021 were unprecedented years, we were able to stay on track in 2022 and continued to help our library by providing:

*Over $40,000 of new books, materials and programs for children, teens and  

   adults.

*Updating our bookstore inside the library with new ideas and a new sign.

*We recognized our school and community librarians and hosted a luncheon.

*Author Wendelin Van Draanen visited and discussed her book “Wild Bird”

  as part of our “Read Together Diamond Bar” program.

*Our fall fundraiser was the always popular “Gently Used Purse Sale.”

*In the past few years, we remodeled our Reading Garden, reupholstered

  library chairs and added new clocks inside the library.

*The Diamond Bar Library welcomed more than 109,500 visitors in

  2021-2022 and continues to have some of the highest circulation in the

  LA County Library System.

Please help make our 29th annual Wine Soirée a success! Donations are tax

deductible.  Donors and contributors are featured in our program book,

advertising, newsletters and press releases.  We would be happy to discuss a

donation or schedule a pickup.  Contact information is below.
