All proceeds from this event will be used to support educational endeavors by providing scholarships to high school students in the Twin Cities' areas. The Ivy Foundation is a non-profit foundation formed by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Phi Omega Chapter, and is tax exempt under section 501{c}(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Collectively, we distributed $36,200 in scholarships in 2022. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is America's first Greek-lettered organization founded by African-American women in 1908. Delta Phi Omega Chapter was chartered in 1948 and has served the Twin Cities' communities for over 70 years. One of its most notable community programs is the African American Academic Achievement Awards (5A) Program. This program ran for over 25 years, awarding more than $100,000 in community scholarships to African-American high school students from the Minneapolis, St. Paul, and surrounding communities, in pursuit of post-secondary education.
