Description

The United States of America is facing a very real crisis; Veteran suicide. It is believed that 22 Veterans commit suicide every day in our country. Some people think that number is higher, some think it is lower. Either way, Charlie 22 Outdoors believes that 1 a day is too many.

Our mission is clear: To provide outdoor activities to our nation’s veterans, and their families, with the goal of showing them there is Hope, Love, and a personal connection with God’s grace. The PTSD and demons they face are very real. Unfortunately, far too many are succumbing to those battles.

Charlie 22 Outdoors was founded, as a result of our passion, to “Serve those who have already Served.” We provide our events free of charge to those we serve and cover all expenses including travel, lodging, meals, tags, licenses, etc. The battle against veteran suicide takes the full effort of a family and community. We’d love for you to join us in this mission.

Our mission is the reason for this letter. We are hosting our annual dinner banquet on August 26. At this banquet there will be raffles, live and silent auctions, and gear for sale. All funds raised go directly towards preparing our events. The dinner banquet is coming together nicely with many local groups donating items for us to auction and raffle that evening. Donations vary from household items, vehicle gear and maintenance, meat packages, hunting equipment, guns, and different outdoor activities/games.

We understand the economic climate has impacted many of our supporters. One thing we do not want to do, is to burden anyone. We also do not want to insult anyone by not giving the opportunity to contribute. If you are in a position where you would kindly donate to the banquet, we genuinely appreciate that. If you are not in a position where you can donate, we genuinely appreciate that as well and ask for your prayers over our Mission and Event. We always need prayer that we are doing God’s work.

We would still love for you to attend the banquet and at least enjoy a free meal on us. As stated earlier, all money raised goes directly to serving veterans. If you have any items to donate, please let us know. We will gladly advertise for you through our various social media sites, on our website, through our hundreds of email contacts, and even our TV campaign and interviews. Monetary donations are a tremendous support and no amount is too small. Whatever capacity you get involved in; please know we are grateful.

There are also opportunities for table sponsorships. 2 Levels. Alpha $1000: 1 Entry to $2500 John’s Sporting Goods Premier Package. Bravo $500: 1 Entry in a separate gun raffle. One entry per table sponsorship. 50/50 chance. Each table can seat 6 people. Each sponsorship will receive 1 piece of Charlie 22 Gear. These sold out quickly at our last banquet.

Thank you again so much. It is awesome to see people want to contribute and be a part of what we are doing for God‘s kingdom. Please pass this on and share with your contacts. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you as we continue to, “Serve those who have already Served.”
