On behalf of the Rio Americano High School Band Boosters (RABB) we would like to request your support of music education.

Rio Americano is a public high school in the San Juan Unified School District.   Rio features award winning band programs that teach approximately 150 students each year. We invite you to make a donation to our annual Dinner Dance and Silent Auction, held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, in Sacramento, CA.

RABB provides the financial support that allows the band program to offer a wide range of music education and performance opportunities, from beginning to advanced levels, featuring 3 jazz bands, 2 concert bands and multiple combos. The most important goal of the band program is to teach our students the love of music and develop the skills they need to enjoy it for a lifetime. Music education promotes teamwork, discipline, citizenship and skills that help grow children into amazing young men and women. Your support of our Dinner Dance and Silent Auction provides funding to purchase and repair instruments and sheet music, offer scholarships to students who cannot afford travel costs, pay festival fees, and other critical operating expenses. 

Please support our music education program today! The students, parents, staff, and families of Rio Americano High School are asking for your support of the 2023 Dinner Dance and Silent Auction by donating an item for our silent auction. Your donation will be recognized on the event website, at the auction table beside the donation, and in the program that will reach over 500 people.  Parents and community members would, in turn, like to support those individuals and businesses that make a difference in our small musical community.
