Description
PROJECT 29:11 operates a food bank in the city of Covina. We help families in the East San Gabriel Valley. Last year we were able to help over 10,400 families, this represents around 32,100 family members. Last year during the Thanksgiving week we gave out 325 turkeys along with a bag of food to make a complete Thanksgiving dinner. In December we host a Community Christmas Party. The Covina police along with our fireghters and volunteers help each child choose a gift and each family receives a large bage of food.
We host one large fundraising event each year, which is our Dinner & Silent Auction which is held at the South Hills Country Club in West Covina, CA.
