Our annual gala will take place on November 4th, 2016 at the Admiral Baker Clubhouse in San Diego, in partnership with veterans of the U.S. Navy.  The theme is Dia de Los Meurtos because it is so close to the actual holiday (November 1) and this year much of our surgical and educational work has focused on underserved communities in Mexicom such as Tijuana and Chiapas.  Last year we had 135 attendees; this year, we plan to bring in more guests because we are using an Advisory Committee and we are planning on having a well-known Latin singer from LA, Alvera de Leon, come to perform.  

The gala will feature traditional Dia de Los Meurtos card games, silent and live auction, sit down dinner and live entertainment.
