Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation would like to partner with you in our endeavor to raise much needed funds to keep your community Discovery Center thriving. This year we are celebrating the 26^th Anniversary of the Foundation, and the time is approaching for our annual gala event.  This year’s Discovery Gala 2016, The Wizard of Agua will be held on Saturday, July 16^th, at the wonderful Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa, with a magnificent menu to compliment a live and silent auction.  I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore... relive the grandeur and mystery of the Yellow Brick Road as we skip, sing and dance our way into Oz. All fundraising will go toward the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation to continue in its mission to inspire people through education and outreach to preserve the Agua Hedionda Lagoon as an accessible and healthy watershed. The Foundation’s Discovery Center in Carlsbad is open to the public and hosts lectures, bird walks, festivals and free family events year round for the community to easily experience nature education. We hope to inspire guests to help protect the lagoon and all nature by providing hands on learning, engaging exhibits and events.
