This is a charity event to raise funds for the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's events and programs. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit in Carlsbad that operates the Discovery Center, an extraordinaire collection of hands on nature activities that allow visitors to "taste nature" experiencing both the lagoon and the ecological reserve that resides. We inspire people through education & outreach to preserve the Agua Hedionda Lagoon, as an accessible and healthy watershed.Our event is our biggest fundraiser. The Gala includes, silent and live auctions, dinner, games, photo booths and is a whole evening event.
