We are excited to co-host the Do It For Durrett Doubleheader on Friday, August 25th at Texas Rangers Golf Club. This year, NextStep and Do It For Durrett will combine their respective fundraising events into one epic day! Will Medieval Times consider an in-kind donation or sponsorship to further our cause?

First, we will host 144 golfers in our Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament which is a four-man scramble with local athletes and media personalities. Next, we will gather for our 9th Annual Fundraiser which has the most epic silent and live auction, celebrity guests, DJ, and more! With over 250 guests total, this party will continue to help us raise money for DFW families impacted by a sudden loss. To date, we have raised more than $1.5 Million and 100% of profits go directly to families in need.

In addition to our silent and live auctions, we will have 40+ radio spots on 96.7/1310 The Ticket, social media posts from our celebrity guests, an amazing raffle, and many more advertising and marketing initiatives throughout DFW and beyond!

The Do It For Durrett Foundation is a 501c3 Nonprofit that was founded when DFW sports personality, Richard Durrett, suddenly passed away during a Texas Rangers road game leaving his then-pregnant wife and son. Our goal is to continue to give back in Richard’s name in hopes of giving a little relief to those that need it most.
