Dear Friend of Montgomery College:

As part of our “DOGFISHING FOR MC SCHOLARSHIPS” fundraiser at Gaithersburg’s Dogfish

Head Alehouse restaurant, the Montgomery College Alumni Association will conduct a

silent auction during the event on May 6, 2025.

The day’s proceeds (including 15 percent of all restaurant sales) support our scholarship

program—helping Montgomery College students reach their educational goals.

We invite you or your organization to support our efforts by donating a product or service to

our silent auction. Past auction premiums have included vacation rentals, golf foursomes,

and gift certificates for area businesses, among other popular products.

We’ve found that items valued at $100 or more tend to attract the best responses.

This is a great opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause while building your visibility

among MC alumni and other customers at our event. We will highlight donors and their

contributions in advance promotions, as well as with signage on site at the event. (You may

also wish to announce your support via our social media tag, #dogfishing4MC.)

The Alumni Association operates as a unit of the Montgomery College Foundation. Should

you require it for accounting purposes, our tax ID number is 52-1267008.
